As you can see, the furniture was very tasteful, however, the size and the configuration were clogging the room a bit. The seller laughed about the "feng shui issues" comment but is glad we addressed them! We removed the love seat and the desk and rearranged a few things. Additionally we replaced the straw blinds with elegant draperies that had sat in a closet for years. It is fascinating to watch how rearranging the furniture can really open it up and make it feel so much bigger.

The breakfast area was empty but for some chairs. We brought in an antique English Oak table and an area rug. We also added greenery throughout the house to liven things up a bit. The before pic shows the previous paint color on the walls.

We switched out the office setup with a room downstairs. We added the coverlet and decorative pillows and "sticks" (well, what else do you call them?!) We also put a wooden arm chair in the corner.

Decluttering was already in progress. The big changes here are the paint color which dramatically brightened the space, and we raised the drapery rod. Additionally, we switched out the overly large armchair with a club chair, and the lamps and added some greenery .

A classic and fun "repurpose" job. We were asked to help prepare the home for sale using the homeowner's existing pieces. These jobs are great because it gives us the opportunity to work with all new inventory! The homeowner was already in the process of decluttering so we focused on editing the existing furniture and supplementing with a few things to really make the place zing! Additionally, we spec'd out new interior paint and installed some draperies. The Place SOLD AND CLOSED in the FIRST MONTH!
