A breathtaking home overlooking the bayou. The homeowner had beautiful furniture
and antiques that were tucked away -- and beneath mountains of clutter in some cases!
What a beautiful room. We removed the clutter from the desktop (an old television that doesn't work,
and the printer), removed four extra chairs. Look at that fireplace...and the grand carved desk. We thinned
out the bookshelves and found some great accessories to fill up the space. Additionally, we changed out the
small scale picture for a large-scale mirror to brighten the room and to bring in the views from the outside.
A new coverlet, a whole new look. There
was also (not pictured) a huge television on a
glass table, a flat screen television on the
floor and several audio components in boxes
by the bedside. We put the glass table behind
the sofa in the living room, hung the flat
screen in the [now] workout room upstairs,
and pulled in a  large ficus from the
sunroom (which is in the left corner).

Again, a new coverlet... And this one was underneath. The old one was very nice but
fought with the funky painted walls. They opted not to repaint, so we opted for something
simpler on the bed. Removing most of the furniture really opened up the space to a very
nice sized room. An old Puerto Vallarta art gallery poster actually made sense of the walls.
A client once told us the utility room is the most important room in the house. And if you're going to
spend a lot of time in there, why not make it nice? There's that TV from the study (remember this is staging).
You can also see this room is utilized by some very important family members.
